These collage-works were assembled from paper and digital clippings from technical manuals, anatomical charts and a wide range of other sources. The 'clear-line' images, etchings, drawings and digital scrap were enhanced and complemented with original drawings. Elements that then became the basis for compositions forming intricately detailed still-lives and panoramic landscapes.
At an earlier stage source material was limited to printed matter like actual books, magazines and manuals. Recently, following technological and digital development, an unlimited amount of high quality material became available online. Still despite the introduction of new techniques, assembly and composition of these collage works remains a manual process.
