Cần Giờ small collage-works
These new collage works combine photos with intricate digital 'still lives', groupings that consist of clipped or torn out drawings. Elements that were sourced from different kinds of mainly technical construction manuals and catalogues, occasionally complemented by contrasting ornamental and anatomical components. The featuring photo textures were taken from foto's made during a 2019 visit into Cần Giờ mangrove forests, Vietnam. These works on canvas are 25 x 25 cm and shoud be considered as preliminary studies for multimedia collageworks.
